Christian Podcasts (Part 2)

The contributors of this blog love podcasts and the edification they bring. They are free, mobile, and easy to use for all Christians. This is an updated list from our previous Christian Podcast post. It is a mixture of different podcast genres on the Christian life. From sermons to practical ministry, you will find something that encourages your soul. These are some we recommend:

Churchmen Podcast: “The Churchmen Podcast is a monthly publication featuring interviews with pastors, for pastors. We discuss current theological issues and challenges facing local church ministry.”

Pastor’s Talk: “Pastors’ Talk is a weekly conversation between Jonathan Leeman and Mark Dever about practical aspects of the Christian life and pastoral ministry.”

City of God: “Equipping the city of God to bear witness in the city of man.” (Owen Strachan)

For the Church: “Hosted by Jared Wilson, this podcast from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary features reflections and conversations aimed at encouraging leaders in gospel ministry.”

Desiring God Podcasts: Podcasts from the ministry of Desiring God.

The On Preaching Podcast: “the podcast dedicated to helping you preach faithfully, clearly, and better.”

Practical Shepherding (Trench Talk Podcast): “where we tackle  the issues pastors face and provide practical advice and wisdom for them.  Practical Shepherding exists to serve pastors who are “laboring in the trenches of pastoral ministry.”  On this podcast, Brian Croft, with some carefully chosen friends, are asked the questions that you as pastors and aspiring pastors want him to address.”

Rainer on Leadership: Leadership podcast from Thom Rainer. “Growing healthy churches together.”

The Table Podcast: “The Table is a weekly podcast on topics related to God, Christianity, and culture. Cultural Engagement chapels allow students to engage experts on topics which link theology to all of life and help them grow as compassionate and courageous leaders.”

Tool Talk: “Tool Talk from Exegetical Tools, where we discuss sound practices and superlative resources to help you rightly divide the Word of Truth. Listen to Travis sit down (or ring up) pastors, scholars, and more to ask them about tools they’re using to study the Bible, exegetical and theological issues they’re currently engaging, and Scriptures that are ministering to their hearts.”

Five Minutes in Church History: “5 Minutes in Church History, hosted by Dr. Stephen Nichols, is a weekly podcast that provides an informal and informative look at church history. Subscribe on your favorite platform, and don’t forget to leave us a review wherever you listen.”

Doxology and Theology: “D&T works to provide content that edifies and equips worship leaders around the world. We invite you to join us as we encourage gospel-centered worship.”

Expositor Podcast: “Join Dr. Steven J. Lawson for an informal look at the life and ministry of the expositor. This new podcast, Expositor, offers informative counsel and wisdom from one of today’s leading biblical expositors into the details of sermon preparation, preaching, and ministry.”

Progressive Baptist Church (Chicago): “The weekly podcast of Progressive Baptist Church with Pastor and Author, Dr. Charlie Dates.”
